Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttt????? It's already Day 18? That means Christmas is exactly one week away. O.O YIKES!!!! And we leave for the village on Friday--in two days. O.O YAY!!!

I love to write with my whole heart and can hardly stand to not write everyday. I don't know how i'm going to survive being away from Catrinity and Painted Skies (click link to read chapter one) for an entire three and a half days. It's going to be horrid...........
Ok. Sorry about that. I actually figured out how to write it even though we aren't taking the computer to the village. :D

Um. I'm proud of my two dogs, Panther and Brownie (we didn't name them...) who haven't been killed yet/taken yet. :/ That sounds pretty awful, yeah, I know, but, it's Papua. :/

I'm not sure if I have a pix of Panther yet (Um, we've had her since September...)... Let me see.
Wow. Are we the biggest losers ever for not taking picture of our dogs. There are none of Panther and one when we first got Brownie.

And on to day 12---wait, there's only 13 days til Christmas, 1 day til my dad's birthday, 3 days til Buzz's birthday, AND just a WEEK 'til we leave for the village!! :D YAY!!!!

BIG News!!!

YEAH!!!

As of right now, we will get to go to the village!!!! :D

On other notes, I have reached 30k in Keep Moving Forward, yesterday!! :D With a great total of 3,078 words written yesterday! WHOO!!! Today I want hit 1,800. I'm hoping I'll get there. :\

I need to do a REAL post on here soon... December will come and I'll try to catch up on some posts (like beaches, my b-day party(wow, august was forever ago), and other things). UGH, i stink at this. :(

I'm back, with some AWESOME news!!!

So, HEY, i'm back!!! :D What do you think of the new design????

And I have some TOTALLY AWESOME NEWS!!!!!

Ok, we might get to go to the village for a couple days!!!!! Awesome, right? We would go with our friends and couple days before Christmas, like we would get back the Monday before Christmas. If we get to go (which I certainly hope we get to do) we would leave the friday before Christmas and then come out the Monday before Christmas.

But, I mean, come on, it would be AWESOME!!!

Oh, and exactly one week, Jeremy will be exactly one year old!!!!! :o (i'm shocked, i mean, my mom just had him, right...?) This Saturday is his birthday party. :D

Yeah, and I am 28,000 (hoping for 29,000 by the end of today) into my NaNo novel Keep Moving Forward.I plan on putting the back cover blurb (that has not been quite edited yet) on my blog Books, Books, Books!

Lately...

Yeah, I've stunk lately at doing this. But here is a little post about what has been going on. And real posts about each will come asap! :)

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is upon us!!! And I can't wait! It'll be my first time doing it, it'll be so exciting! :D I am doing the YWP (Young Writers Program) because, sadly, I'm not 13 yet. :( But I will be able to do it next November! :) Some of you are doing NaNoWriMo, and I know it (Bekah...). ;)












CRITIQUE GROUPS
                                                 This is a major thing that has been going on too! :) I must post, read posts, and critique in the two critique groups I am in. It's so much fun!

(And if you are a writer, you are welcome to join them! (well, as long as you are a teenager/tween)

Pupppppppppppies!!!!!!! has also been a HUGE priority! ;) This is only one of them and this picture was taken 2 months ago. :p Wow, are we bad at taking pics of our dogs or what? This one's name is Brownie. And then we have a black one named Panther. (she actually looks more like a bear ;)

We went to the beach about two weeks ago and SPENT THE NIGHT!!!!!!! It was awesome, until I came home with a sunburn. :P But that is not the beach we went to, just one i found on pinterest that I really liked.

Summer Rewind

so yeah, i know, i should've done this FOREVER ago! (SORRY!!!) i just got my 1st draft finished and that is what i've been doing these past weeks. ;) but i finially going to do this post! :)

• Go to the beach... A LOT!! (we went 1, which is a lot sometimes!)

• Make a friendship bracelet for ALL my friends that are here (at the moment)

Back Again!

So, do you consider a week a long time? Well, if it's being away from one of my brother's friends then, NO it is NOT a long time. If you consider it being away from all of you, then YES IT HAS BEEN AGES!!!!! (girl things...) a few things i've done this past week...

• FOUND A NAME FOR MY BOOK.... FINDING MY VOICE!!!! :D
• FINISHED MY FIRST DRAFT OF FINDING MY VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• START A NEW NOVEL!!! 

(uhh, anything else non - writing related happen..? No.....)

• GET INTO ANOTHER CRITIQUE GROUP (YEAHHHHH!!)

So...moving on, the heroes defeat the villain (with some help from you, of course-whatever it may be. ;) But the next day, you're just walking along, minding your own business, when you suddenly come across the same villain...who is now lying in the dust severely wounded and unconscious. What do you do? 

Whoa, I don't know... ok, i would take him to my house and, I don't know, take care of him until he was well, or ***almost*** well.
4. Now his minions show up and kidnap both you and him and take you to their universe (or version of your universe, whatever it happens to be.) Your reaction? 

Honestly, I would be shouting to let them free. And I would be scared to death!
5. Your fantastic heroes have arrived to rescue you-but now you're faced with a choice. The villain, out of gratitude for your earlier help, (assuming you actually did help him when he was wounded) has offered you a chance to travel back to your own universe. However, the heroes warn you not to trust him. The only other way for you to get back home is to travel with the heroes on a long and dangerous journey... and there's no guarantee that you'll survive.
What. Do. You. Do. 
I would go with Jesus. Not about to trust Nicholae!

~Picture Post~ Beach

So here is the "picture post". Btw, we went for my 12th birthday!! (which actually is today) We went on a weekday because there are to many people on the weekend. :P Otherwise we would be going today. We had lots of fun!!! This is my favorite beach because it has a freshwater place and the salt water. Anyway.... PICTURES.....

   “Mama!” It was Thursday. I hadn’t known Beth one week. And she was already my best (only) friend. But tomorrow she would turn 11!! Acckk!! I had to get her something!! “I need to get Beth a birthday present!!!!!!!! Will you take me after school???”

                Something really, really exciting came up 2 ½ years ago… Moving to Papua, Indonesia!! At first, I was scared and didn’t want to go. I thought that there was no power, mud houses, only Papuans (that’s not a great thing to tell since that was the whole reason we were going). But then, I gradually got more and more excited!!!!! But then, there was leaving America. I had lived there my whole life!!!! I was 10 years old then, it was really hard leaving all of my family and friends!! But I had to go wherever my parents went so that meant Indonesia. We got on the plane, for nine hundred years, well, it felt like it!! ;] No, just 3 days [just]. Then we adjusted to the time.

                Well, now I had found out that my friend, Ann, was going to Papua too!! But she happened to be in Java the same time we were!! :D So we had playdates, sometimes, but mainly we played with the Indonesian kids, that lived right next door! Rizal, Rendi [Randy], Lusi [Lucy], Ka-ka, San-san, and Dian were our best friends there!! We played together every day!! (unless it rained)

                There is electricity, there are real houses (you know), and there were Bulahs (aka foreigners){not that really mattered, it just felt good to have other bulahs}!!

                Even though we now live in Papua, there are still the same things, Indonesians, electricity, etc. Even though we have power outs more often here, it’s kind of fun. ;] Well, it does get hot, sometimes we are ready to scream, but it’s super-duper fun playing outside with the Indonesians in the rain!!! And getting all muddy!

                I love living here; I’m soo glad I am getting to live here!!! I love it soo much, it’s just going to be hard to get used to America for 9 months next year! Since this place is totally different.

So if you are wondering why I haven't had a post for the last 2 (almost 3) weeks is not because I haven't been able to get on (well, kinda'), it's because I went to camp.

Father's Day (1 Day Early) 2013

So, Sundays are the busiest days of the week. Seriously. There's church at 9:30, then (maybe) go to the mall for lunch and some groceries, then back home and do whatever 'til about 3:15. THEN we get ready to go to a meeting up at the International school. After that (about 5:30), I have soccer (sometimes my siblings do) 'til 6:45/7:00. Then we go home, shower, eat, and go to bed. PHEEEW! So, Father's Day....

I'm back!!!!!!!!!

Pray for our Friends

When school lets out (last Thurs), everyone is on their way out. Maybe for a summer furlough. Or to start their furlough. Or just to go on vacation to who-knows-where. Listen to this, On May 26th, when we had middle school soccer, we had teams of 6-7. Yesterday we started with 2 teams, that grew to 3 teams, and then went to 4 teams with 4 players. BIG, no, not big, HUGE CHANGE!!! That's only like 24 kids, and, ohh, there are a WHOLE lota' middle schoolers here!!

So please pray for our friends that are on their way back to the States. (And other places). :) Thanks!!
