Nasi Kuning

Sooooo... Nasi Kuning is, like, my fav Indonesian food. It's soooo good. Like, really good.




The thing is, it's sold on the side of the road. You know, with everything passing by, like cars and motorcycles. But I still love it!!! When we first ate it, which was in Java, we were at our house and our neighbors, Ibu Reni and her 2 kids, came and gave us a big plate, full of it! John (he's sick of the nickname 'Johnny') and I would grab 2 forks and dig in, we ate it, our mom helped just a bit too, 'til it was gone. Rarely did Ibu Reni bring us yellow rice, but we loved to eat it when she did!!! Now, here in Papua, we eat it about once a week!
