Monday's Minutes Challenge

Yes. I am INCREDIBLY late. But it's not my fault. It's business's fault. Excuse yourself, business. Hmph. But here I am now! =D

I will be doing the written prompt: "You have one chance to make your decision. What's it going to be?"

He takes his knife from under his coat, "You have one chance to make your decision. What's it going to be?"

My hands dig deeper into my pockets. I bite my lip. What do I do? Should I tell the truth and lose my life? Or should I lie and lose my life?

It is going to be a lose-lose.

“Answer me.” He swings the knife towards me.

My breath is caught in my throat, “I did it. I killed her.” I close my eyes.

There is a clank that echoes the empty room.

I feel worse than I ever have in my life. Why do I have stupid anger problems? Why do I react like that? With a knife or a sword.

I expect that any moment he’ll grab my throat and swing me around the room. I expect that any moment will be my last. But I still live.

I open my eyes. He’s on his knees—crying. His tears fall, he says her name over and over again, “Tina, Tina, Tina…”

I drop to my knees next to him and rub his back, I try to comfort him.

He doesn’t push me away. He doesn’t slit my throat. He just cries next to me. He cries his heart out.

I hear new words come from his lips, “Tina, you died loved…”

If only I had…

Book Tea Party Tag

Cait and Mime's blog, Notebook Sisters is turning three!! I love this blog, and want to wish them a very happy birthday (or blorthday)!! Cait and Mime, I absolutely LOVE Notebook Sisters, and I'm very happy you guys blog there. =)

Craziest characters? Hmm, that one's a bit hard, but maybe Ellie from The Revised Life of Ellie Sweet, I loved that series and Ellie was a bit crazy... 
3. Red Queen, Off With Your Head! What book have you felt like beheading?

There was one, MAN, but I cannot remember the name of the author, I know that I read book six and book one, I HATED both of them. I think the first one was called Teacher's Pet--I can't remember the other one... It WAS about dogs, but I couldn't stand both of the books. 
4. White Rabbit: What books or series have been insanely popular but you've been "late" to pick them up?

Wow, let's see, I haven't read Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and I just started reading The Book Thief (already 112 pages into the book!) 
5. Caterpillar: What's the most confusing book you've read?

The Cat Who Went to Heaven, I never got that book...
6. Dormouse: What was the last book that sent you to sleep?

Um, I don't think there has been a book that ever sent me to sleep because I got bored, but I fell asleep jet-lagged while reading The Hobbit

The New Recruit by Jill Williamson--that was a fun one! =)

This post is for my followers, or whoever is reading that I haven't actually met in person,

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING MY BLOG. In other words...

You guys are like the only normal thing to me right now. My blog is a place where I can go and know that you guys reply to me in the comments. I just want to thank you SO MUCH.

Although YES, I am having SO much FUN in America right now, I really, really, really, really, really, really, etc. miss Papua. I know that, yes, I am an American, and yes I lived there until I was nine and a half, but Papua and Indonesia has so easily become my home.

In other words, I feel outright awkward in America because I have NO idea about hardly ANYTHING. I didn't even know that the movie EPIC existed until about two weeks ago. (?!!?)

Ok, so, anyway guys, ALL OF YOU ARE AWESOME, and I really appreciate you reading my blog and commenting. =)

It would be awesome if someday, somehow I would be able to meet each and every one of you and thank you in person. =)

Monday's Minutes Challenge

This week I shall be doing all three prompts.
The three items: cereal box, handcuffs, and camera
The dialog prompt is: What (s)he said next could have the power to change my life forever. 
And the picture prompt:

Beautiful isn't?

I had waken up thousands upon thousands of days ago ready to grab a cereal box. I had picture upon picture taken with family and friends even before Jenna’s wedding.

But I sure hadn’t expected the day to end up where everyone was in handcuffs except for me.

I now sit on a limb of a tree branch that dangles above a mucky river in a fantasy world. One I only thought existed for four year olds.

I had searched every last place in this forest for a way back to my home, planet Earth. There was just no way out. I will be stuck in this fantasy world forever.

I sit in the same white dress that I wore as one of Jenna’s bridesmaids. My hair is still down and still rests straight down my back.

I sigh, wishing I had known the future all that time ago. Wishing that I could’ve stopped Jenna’s very special day from ending the way it had.

“Hello,”

I scream and fall face first into the mucky water.

When I pick myself up I discover once again how I’m still dry, my dress is still white, and my hair is still straight.

I look around for the voice. It had been a man’s voice, but no one was there.

“H-hello?” I whisper, searching the forest.

“Ada Charlotte,”

I hear it again. But still none are around. My knees start to shake, just like they did when I heard the helicopter chops all that time ago.

“Where are you?” I ask.

“Anywhere you look,”

Now I am really shaking.

“Are you going to take me?”

“No,”

“Then why are you here?”

What he said next could have the power to change my life forever.

Just Monday

Guess what we did on Monday!! =)

We went to Legoland in Florida with some really good friends!! =) It was awesome!! This is what we looked like when we found out (and just so you know, I was putting sunscreen on)

We were so excited!!! =)

I think this was taken in the parking lot ;)

I love dinosaurs =)

This was in the sandwich shop where we got lunch =)

We were watching a show. It was waaay better than I expected ;)

I LOVED THIS THING (and so did my mom) but anyway, LOOK AT IT!!! =D I love it. ;)

John and his (everyone else's too) friend, Mark =)

I went on this ride with my sister. I am holding the black hat because it was my mom's and she'd be pretty mad if I had lost it =)

Miniland was AMAZING!!! =) 

PLUS, we got to meet a master builder!! =) That was pretty awesome!! He said that just in Miniland (I'm relying on my memory here) there was over 30 million legos. *jaw drops*

So, yah, that's what happened Monday! =) Right now we are staying at our friend's condo on the beach. It's really nice... Tomorrow we leave in the morning to go to our friend's house. We'll be there until Monday morning, then we'll leave to go to Georgia and then home again home again to Tennessee. =)
