Please Pray...

Monday....

We were playing outside like we do. We were playing with Indonesians. Suddenly, my friends, Lisa (10), Nur (12?), and Gabbie (11) started leaving. Well, according to another friend of mine, Fedel (9), they didn't like being with a LOT of other kids, which there was a HUGE group comin' our way. But since they saw my 3 friends leave they thought it was time to go home so they headed that way. But, one little boy, Gilang, just as they were crossing the road, Gilang was hit by a motorcycle. The motorcycle dude wasn't going very very fast. About normal. Gilang laid there a little stiff. Nur raced over and started to pick him up... It ends up that this guy from somewhere made 'dude' get back on the motorcycle and take him and Gilang to Gilang house.
     I was scared.
Yesterday, (my Tuesday) not ONE SINGLE KID CAME TO PLAY.
Today, however, 4 kids came to play!! Fion, the ever faithful one, said that Gilang is at his house. He is ok. Not dead. Whew..... But my mom asked, "Can he come play?" A different kid (I admit, I forgot his name :/) said "Tidak bisa." Translation, "Cannot." THEN my mom said, "Can he walk?" (Just so ya'll know, my mom is also talking in Indonesian, I just don't know how to write it. ;) ) And the kid said, "Belum," Translation, "Not yet."
But they said he will be able to.
So, HOORAY!! He is alive!! And not dead!! But his family is Islam.

SO, all that to say please pray for these things:

  • That Gilang will live and be able to run and play again sometime soon.
  •  That Gilang's family will become Christians through this insistence.

Thx! And this was very scary because I watched the WHOLE thing. None of my siblings saw it. Very scary.

  1. I'll definitely pray!! I really hope he gets better soon. At least it wasn't too serious, though.
