The Village ||2||

The pilot took his hands off the controls. ;)
This is all of the kids :D

Mrs. K was doing something that was kind of related to the Jesse Tree, but she made it and every night we went through the whole Bible. :) Haha, just kidding. But we went through a lot of the stories--it was fun! :)

This guy came the first night we were there with that in his finger. :P All the adults went to work on it. *shudders* They finally got it out.
 Hope ya'll liked those! :D BTW, I'm going to sew more today! And I need to take some pictures of what I've already done....

Home from the Village

Surprised right? Haha. Um. Well. I've tried not to post this for a while, because it's gonna take ages to get all the pictures up. So, now until whenever I get this thing done, I'll be posting a couple pictures everyday--this could last a lifetime. :)

SO. Picture Time.

See the river behind them? They're either riding it down there to PNG, or they came up there.
Better picture of the river. :) The boys bathed there (?!?) for two nights. The girls just swam for fun...
It's amazing! Jeremy was very happy with Mrs. K! :D

About to go!

I think this is the river from above... Maybe a different one...

Who greeted us. :) The family's, whom we stayed with, son is the white kid there. ;)

These chairs were awesome, and hard to get out of. ;)
Ok, probably no pix tomorrow--being Sunday, but there should be some on Monday.

BTW, Frozen's DVD release date is MARCH 18TH!!!! I can't wait!! :D

Every Word He Spoke was a Lie

Every word he spoke was a lie...

How would you continue the story? This was the prompt from the most recent GTW Writing Contest. It had to be 107 words or less. I ended with 86 words. I also turned out to be a finalist.

So, here is my entry:

   Every word he spoke was a lie.
   They had led me to this place—this dark, dark lonely place. Where rats played the role as my companions and the fleas were my friends.
   I lifted my head to the barred door, and peered through the dim light. He stood there, silently shifting from one foot to the other, staring at the hard, cold ground.
   “This is my fault,” His whispered words drifted to my corner. “Entirely my fault…”

   Never could I agree more with a man.

Would you continue reading? I think I want to continue writing this story... it's sounds like fun. :)

Monday Minutes

Click this picture and you can enter too! Even if you don't have a blog!!

   I could not believe who the new kid was. My voice caught in my throat when she entered the room. One glance and I was a goner.
   Keeping my head low, I adjusted my blue ball cap, making sure the ginger hair that covered my forehead wasn't pushed aside. I dug my hands in my pockets deeper and blocked out Ken's voice altogether. Looking at the floor, I saw her walk by me--but she said nothing. Good. Maybe that meant she hadn't seen me.
   When it was time for class to begin, I took my spot, but looked up when Ms. Hardthrop called, "Justin, please lift your cap up some, it would be best if I could see your face," Her smile was the normal one, but it didn't feel like it. Especially when I heard the gasp behind me when my name was called.

What do you think? This is my Monday Minutes Challenge this week. :) I might have gotten a new spark. My second spark where a boy is the M(ain)C(haracter). :) Do you feel interested in this story? Would you read on?

Frozen

So. You've probably already guessed that I've seen Frozen. We watched it at the new theater in the city. Going to the city was WORTH IT. Seriously, Frozen is the greatest movie that Disney ever made. Ever.  Here's a picture of us at the theater:
Not the greatest pix, but this is the best of the two. :/
NOW. For the things from Frozen. :) Pinterest is a lovely thing. (That's where all the pix come from,)
DO NOT READ THIS POST UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN FROZEN, I LIKE SPOILERS. :)

Elsa and Anna
LOL
Oh my word!! LOL XD

I can't help the ginormous pictures. :)
Oh! This part!! So sad!!
*GRINS*
Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?

I have to close this down soon. :( But I have a couple more pix I would like to share. :)
But really
LOL
Ok. It had to come to an end sooner or later. :( For me it was too soon. I could've gone on and on with the pictures and you literally would have just stopped reading. ;) The last two pictures are below (wow, bet you didn't see them!). If you went through these all, congrats! :)

Monday's Minutes Challenge--Christ is Write

This is a challenge that I am going to take on!! :/ Every Monday Tessa Emily Hall *click link for blog* is going to post a Minutes challenge. :) I'm super excited and hope to do so! :)

**Click the picture and be taken to Tessa's post**

   I never imagined my new year would begin this way...
   But it did. Now what do I do? Run for it? I couldn't do that. They might find me. And if they did, I would put everyone in danger--not one soul would be saved if I let them find me. It was all up to me.
   There was just one thing: How much longer could I keep up with this?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
New spark!! ;)
Please Read
Please, please, pleas take the time to read this post from THSC. A judge in Texas removed children from a home for no reason--no good reason. They are trying to get them to stop homeschooling. I'm mad at these people. Like, literally mad. I beg you to take the time to read it, sign the petition, and share it.
Read it here.
Thanks,
Youth Group December 2013
In December my parents did youth group--with my friend's family. It was December and there were only 11 kids (including me) total that showed up. We had fun anyway with two games my mom found on Pinterest (links included). It was really fun and I enjoyed having the smaller group. ;)
The game we were to play (Chocolate Unicorn) was being explained
Chocolate Unicorn was tons of fun. In one minute we had to see how many Oreos we could stack on our heads.
Boys' team.
Me, I was trying not to smile. My friend (my partner standing there) is always making me giggle.
The Sentence Game was a lot of fun, and we turned out with some hilarious endings.
We had s'mores, even though it was seriously raining. *ahem* I had a s'moreo. ;) Marshmallow and chocolate inside of an Oreo. YUM
Listening to the lesson
It was fun! ;) Even though the rain ruined our first plans. :/
Oh, and my friend, Margret, and her family came out of the village today!!! :D We're having them over for supper and i'm super excited!! :D It's so good to see her again! ;D
