You Know You've Been in Indonesia for Three Years When....

When the ACed room is FROZEN (in your mind) ;)

A Day in the Life of... Me ;)

So. I saw WILD HORSE do this, and I decided that I'm crazy enough to do one too. :)

• 5:00-7:00:: Gets up, reads devotions, checks email and social media, and writes (that contains being awkward with Mary ;)
• 7:00-8:30:: Feeds precious puppies (ok, they're really dogs), makes MY breakfast (either pancakes or banana oatmeal), and eats
• 8:30-11:45:: SCHOOL
• 11:45-1:10:: Cleans up school room, peels my cucumber (I eat one or two a day now), eats lunch, and helps clean up the table.
• 1:10-4:00:: SCHOOL or free time. 
• 4:00-5:00:: Either goes outside, or stays inside and reads or types. :)
• 5:00-6:00:: Takes showers, sets table(s), helps with supper (maybe), and then more free time! :)
• 6:00-8:00:: Sometime in between there we have dinner, cleans up, then free time. :D
• 8:00-9:00:: Reads in bed, or writes, or draws or something--maybe sleeps. Haha.
• 9:00-5:00 SLEEPS. :)

There you go, a day in the life of me! :) This is probably a *normal* (haha, who ever has a normal day while living in Papua???) Wednesday. :)

Monday's Minutes

  
  I always knew my brother was up to no good. But to go this far? I didn't know anyone was capable of that. My eyes shifted to the crumpled figure in front of me. Was she really to stay like that forever?
   Why couldn't Andrew see that we needed Mama? Why? I threw my head to my arms and let the tears fall to the ground. Tears for Mama. Tears for Andrew. Tears for everyone that was going to encounter my brother. My brother. Or should I even call him that?
   The only thing on my mind minutes later, were his eyes. The ones that filled with evil, hatred, and fire. I cried all the more.

   I never thought disobeying a teacher would bring me here. But it had, and I couldn't do anything about it now. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, with someone I know by chance, and what now? Everything had been burned. Because of him. If I had done the cooking, would we be in this situation?! Of course not!

   "I'm sorry, Sal, it just happened," He touches my arm, sending shivers through my spine.

   "Sorry doesn't ease it, Matt," I step backwards, away from the man who had brought horror upon me--again.
